Pull the Pins a Pinterest account has published, telling images, videos and outbound links apart, with repin, reaction and comment counts and the board each one sits on. Coverage of every board and of older Pins is not guaranteed.
Pinterest Posts by user lists the Pins one account has published, given its username, and returns each Pin's title and description, image or video, outbound link and source domain, the board it sits on in board_name, repin, reaction and comment counts, dominant color and publish time. It answers what an account publishes on Pinterest and which of its Pins spread, for social teams benchmarking competitor accounts, brands checking which of their own Pins people save, and analysts studying how creators organize content into boards.
username is the account's short name, with or without a leading @; a full profile URL is not parsed, so take the name from the link first. Grouping rows by board_name shows how the account divides its content, and setting repin_count against posted_at separates recent hits from older Pins that built up saves over time. Null comment or share counts were not disclosed, which is not zero.
Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Pinterest Posts by user endpoint (pinterest/user_posts).
Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to pinterest and action to user_posts, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- username: Specifies the Pinterest user handle for the profile, user_posts, and boards actions, with or without a leading @. Full profile web URLs are not accepted.
- Optional parameters:
- limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 50. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 20)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: id, url, title, text, image_url, video_url, media_type, external_link, source_domain, reaction_count, repin_count, comment_count; 20 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=pinterest.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "pinterest",
"action": "user_posts",
"params": {
"username": "pinterest"
}
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters

Response example
Captured September 26, 2026 at 08:56 (UTC) by calling this API with the parameters in the code sample above. results and count are that call's real response with personal information (names, handles, avatars, profile links, contact details) removed; the list keeps the first 2. id, billing and quota differ on every call, so only their shape is shown.

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
id | The record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms. |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
title | Title. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts). |
text | Body text with HTML removed, returned in full and never cut short (on a few platforms the list results themselves carry only an excerpt; the platform's field notes say so). |
image_url | Image link. Capabilities with several images may return an image_urls array. |
video_url | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
media_type | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
external_link | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
source_domain | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
reaction_count | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
repin_count | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
comment_count | Comments. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
share_count | Shares. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
dominant_color | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
alt_text | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
posted_at | Publish time in ISO 8601, UTC (for example 2026-08-07T12:34:56+00:00). Non-standard strings from the platform are passed through as is, so parse defensively. null means the platform does not disclose it. |
author_username | Author's username (@handle), usually usable in URLs. |
author_name | Author's display name. |
board_name | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
price | Price as a number without a currency symbol; see currency. |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
FAQ
What format does username take?
The account's short name, such as pinterest, from a profile address like pinterest.com/pinterest/. A leading @ is fine, but Pinterest Posts by user does not parse a full profile URL, so strip it down to the name. The same short name works for the Pinterest Details and Pinterest Boards capabilities.
How do I find an account's most saved Pins?
Sort the rows by repin_count, the number of times each Pin was saved again, Pinterest's main measure of spread. Read reaction_count and comment_count beside it to see which Pins also draw responses, and keep posted_at in view, since older Pins have had longer to gather saves.
How is Posts by user different from Pins on a board?
Pinterest Posts by user starts from an account and returns the Pins it has published, with board_name telling you which board each one sits on. Pinterest Pins on a board starts from a single board, named by its username/board-name path, and returns that board's contents. Use the first to profile an account and the second to study one curated collection.
Errors and billing
- 401
- Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
- 422
- Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
- 402
- Insufficient balance. Top up first.
- 429
- The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
- 503
- Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
- 200 empty
- The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).

- Pinterest: Saved Pins Are Not Guaranteed to Be Account-Original Content ↗
Official documentation explains that image Pins can be created by uploading images or saving offsite images, where offsite saves retain links to the original site. Account-associated Pins cannot be directly equated with original works, and source verification does not replace content usage permissions.
