What do the Booking search parameters mean?
Find hotels, apartments and other stays on Booking.com for a destination, with official stars, guest score, price, breakfast terms, chain and location. Send dates as a check_in and check_out pair; prices are as shown and are not held until you book.
keywordRequired- Specifies the property destination name, such as Amsterdam. Used by the search action to find hotels, apartments, and other accommodations, rather than flight, attraction, or review keywords.
check_inOptional- Specifies the check-in date in YYYY-MM-DD format. Search and profile actions require both check_in and check_out to send stay dates. For prices, this acts as the start date when start_date is omitted. Does not create bookings.
check_outOptional- Specifies the check-out date in YYYY-MM-DD format, which must be after check_in and provided together with it. Setting check_out alone will not pass stay ranges to search or profile actions.

Get one Booking.com property from its /hotel/ page link: description, type, official stars, guest score with category ratings, facilities, address and a quoted price. Official stars and the guest rating are separate measures, and adding dates does not lock in the price.

What do the Booking prices parameters mean?
Compare room rates for a Booking.com property day by day, with room type, original and current price, taxes, refundability, meal plan and rooms left. The days window defaults to 7 and caps at 30; check_in and check_out in each row are the hotel's daily hours, not your dates.
urlRequired- Specifies the full URL to a single property page, preferably using the /hotel/ path format. Used by profile to fetch details, reviews to retrieve property reviews, and prices to check room rates. Destination search URLs are not supported.
adultsOptional- Specifies the adult guest count for price queries, accepting an integer and defaulting to 2. Used as a price query parameter only; does not cap returned room options or initiate a booking. Search operates with a fixed count of 2 adults.

Booking API questions
What can I retrieve with the Booking API?
Set platform to booking. The current catalog lists search, details, reviews, and prices. These action names identify different Booking objects or views; they are not interchangeable search modes.
Which input starts a Booking `search` request?
Specifies the property destination name, such as Amsterdam. Used by the search action to find hotels, apartments, and other accommodations, rather than flight, attraction, or review keywords. Send it as keyword inside params.
Which fields can Booking `search` return?
Its declared schema includes name, type, text, and stars. A declared field can still be absent from an individual record, and every other action has its own field list.
Does every Booking action return immediately?
Actions labeled asynchronous return a job ID you poll. Every other action can also run asynchronously: add "mode": "async" to the request body to receive a job ID immediately, useful for slow tasks or large limits. The current catalog contains sync delivery.
