Go through the Pins saved on one Pinterest board, keyed by board_id such as pinterest/official-news, with media, outbound link, author and engagement for each. Private sections are excluded, and the whole board is not guaranteed.
Pinterest Pins on a board lists the Pins saved to one board, given its board_id, and returns each Pin's title and description, image or video, outbound link and source domain, repin, reaction and comment counts, dominant_color, alt_text, author and publish time. Boards are Pinterest's unit of collection, so this answers what a curated set holds: brands audit their own boards, trend researchers read influential mood boards, and merchants see which products and sites a board gathers.
board_id is the part of the board's address after pinterest.com/, the account's username and the board's name, such as pinterest/official-news; each board link in Pinterest Boards results gives it once you drop the domain. source_domain across the rows shows which websites the board draws from, and dominant_color across the rows sketches its palette. A null comment_count or share_count means the count was not disclosed, not zero.
Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Pinterest Pins on a board endpoint (pinterest/board_pins).
Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to pinterest and action to board_pins, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- board_id: Board identifier for board_pins: the username/board-name part of the board URL after pinterest.com/, for example pinterest/official-news. Each board in boards results has a url; drop the domain to get this value.
- Optional parameters:
- limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 50. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 20)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: id, url, title, text, image_url, video_url, media_type, external_link, source_domain, reaction_count, repin_count, comment_count; 20 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=pinterest.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "pinterest",
"action": "board_pins",
"params": {
"board_id": "pinterest/official-news"
}
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters

Response example
Captured September 26, 2026 at 08:56 (UTC) by calling this API with the parameters in the code sample above. results and count are that call's real response with personal information (names, handles, avatars, profile links, contact details) removed; the list keeps the first 2. id, billing and quota differ on every call, so only their shape is shown.

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
id | The record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms. |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
title | Title. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts). |
text | Body text with HTML removed, returned in full and never cut short (on a few platforms the list results themselves carry only an excerpt; the platform's field notes say so). |
image_url | Image link. Capabilities with several images may return an image_urls array. |
video_url | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
media_type | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
external_link | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
source_domain | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
reaction_count | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
repin_count | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
comment_count | Comments. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
share_count | Shares. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
dominant_color | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
alt_text | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
posted_at | Publish time in ISO 8601, UTC (for example 2026-08-07T12:34:56+00:00). Non-standard strings from the platform are passed through as is, so parse defensively. null means the platform does not disclose it. |
author_username | Author's username (@handle), usually usable in URLs. |
author_name | Author's display name. |
board_name | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
price | Price as a number without a currency symbol; see currency. |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
FAQ
Where do I find a board_id?
In the board's address: it is the part after pinterest.com/, the account's username followed by the board's name, such as pinterest/official-news. To collect them for an account, list its boards with Pinterest Boards and drop the domain from each board link. A board's display name alone is not enough.
Which websites does a board draw from?
Group the rows by source_domain, the domain of each Pin's content source, and look at external_link for the exact page each Pin leads to. On a shopping or inspiration board, this shows which retailers and publishers the board's curator relies on most.
Can I build a board's color palette from the results?
Yes. Each row's dominant_color is the Pin's main color as a hex value, ready for visual analysis. Count the colors across the board to see its palette, and pair them with image_url and alt_text when you want to check how the colors relate to the subjects shown.
Errors and billing
- 401
- Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
- 422
- Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
- 402
- Insufficient balance. Top up first.
- 429
- The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
- 503
- Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
- 200 empty
- The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).

- Pinterest: Organizing Pins by Board Without Confusing Sections ↗
Official documentation states that Pins can be placed into sections within a board. `board_id` here still targets only the board; official tutorials do not provide ID conversion capabilities for this endpoint, nor do they imply that section query parameters are available.
