What do the Etsy search parameters mean?
Search Etsy listings by keyword and get price, list price, currency, rating and the shop behind each item, with optional currency, title exclusions, minimum price and sort. Listing data does not guarantee handmade production, stock or delivery.
keywordRequired- Specifies the search query string for Etsy product searches (for example, ceramic mug) to query item titles and listings. It is not an exact match shop lookup; use shop to retrieve shop profiles or reviews.
currencyOptional- Sets the listing price currency in search results using one of the supported lowercase currency codes, defaulting to usd. The min_price parameter is interpreted in this currency. This setting affects response display values only and does not alter platform API billing currencies.Allowed values:

Fetch the full record of one Etsy product from its listing url: description, materials, price range, variants, review highlights and the shop behind it. Despite the action name, profile covers a product, not a buyer account or the shop's full page.
urlRequired- Accepts a full Etsy listing URL in the format /listing/<ID>/ for profile and product_detail actions to fetch single item product details. Note that profile targets item details rather than user profiles. It cannot replace the required shop parameter when querying shop endpoints.
What do the Etsy reviews parameters mean?
Read shop-level reviews for an Etsy store given its short name or shop URL in shop, with rating, author, the related listing title and any seller response. These cover the shop as a whole, not one listing, and the batch does not account for every sale.
shopRequired- Identifies the shop using either its short name or a full URL like https://www.etsy.com/shop/<shop_name>. What do the Etsy product_detail parameters mean?
Get one Etsy product from its listing url, with description, current and original price, visible stock quantity, rating, variants and tags. in_stock_quantity is the count shown on the page, not an audited inventory, and nothing is reserved.

What can I retrieve with the Etsy API?
Set platform to etsy. The current catalog lists search, product details, reviews, shop, and product details. These action names identify different Etsy objects or views; they are not interchangeable search modes.
Which input starts a Etsy `search` request?
Specifies the search query string for Etsy product searches (for example, ceramic mug) to query item titles and listings. It is not an exact match shop lookup; use shop to retrieve shop profiles or reviews. Send it as keyword inside params.
Which fields can Etsy `search` return?
Its declared schema includes listing_id, title, price, and list_price. A declared field can still be absent from an individual record, and every other action has its own field list.
Does every Etsy action return immediately?
Actions labeled asynchronous return a job ID you poll. Every other action can also run asynchronously: add "mode": "async" to the request body to receive a job ID immediately, useful for slow tasks or large limits. The current catalog contains sync delivery.
