What can I retrieve with the Snapchat API?
Set platform to snapchat. The current catalog lists profiles, stories, posts by user, and video details. These action names identify different Snapchat objects or views; they are not interchangeable search modes.
Which input starts a Snapchat `profile` request?
Specifies a public creator handle, accepted as a plain username (with optional @ prefix) or a full snapchat.com profile URL. This parameter retrieves public profile data for profile, current public stories for stories, or Spotlight short videos for user_posts. Private chats and friends-only stories are not accessible. Send it as username inside params.
Which fields can Snapchat `profile` return?
Its declared schema includes business_profile_id, username, display_name, and bio. A declared field can still be absent from an individual record, and every other action has its own field list.
Does every Snapchat action return immediately?
Actions labeled asynchronous return a job ID you poll. Every other action can also run asynchronously: add "mode": "async" to the request body to receive a job ID immediately, useful for slow tasks or large limits. The current catalog contains sync delivery.
