See who works at a company on LinkedIn, given its short name or /company/ link in company, with each person's name, headline, location and profile link. Rows are a sample of observed profiles, not an official, current or complete staff list.

LinkedIn Employees lists a public sample of the people who work at one company, given the company's LinkedIn short name or /company/ page link in company. Each row carries the person's name, headline, location with country, country code and city, profile link, avatar, Premium and influencer flags, whether they have marked themselves open to work, and contact details where available. Sales teams use it to map the people at a target account, recruiters to source candidates, and analysts to see where a company's staff are based.

The list is a sample, not a full roster, so do not use its length as headcount. headline is the short line each person writes about themselves. open_to_work marks people who have publicly flagged that they are looking for a job, and email comes back only when public or authorized, which means it is null for most rows.

Price $0.56 per 1,000 requests ($0.000556 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra LinkedIn Employees endpoint (linkedin/employees).

Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to linkedin and action to employees, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - company: Specifies the LinkedIn company short name or /company/ profile URL for company_profile and employees, rather than an arbitrary legal business name.
- Optional parameters:
  - limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 200. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 20)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: id, url, name, headline, location, country, country_code, city, avatar_url, is_premium, is_influencer, open_to_work; 21 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=linkedin.
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "linkedin",
  "action": "employees",
  "params": {
    "company": "google"
  }
}
- Price: $0.56 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

Request parameters

NameInTypeRequiredDefaultDescription
AuthorizationheaderstringYes-Bearer followed by your API key. Create it in the console; never put it in a URL or a code repository.
platformbodystringYeslinkedinPlatform identifier, fixed value.
actionbodystringYesemployeesCapability identifier, fixed value.
companybody.paramsNot declaredYes-Specifies the LinkedIn company short name or /company/ profile URL for company_profile and employees, rather than an arbitrary legal business name. The employees action expands short names into full company URLs to return a public employee sample, which does not guarantee a complete roster of current staff.
limitbody.paramsinteger (1–200)No20The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 200. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge.

Code samples

bash
curl -X POST 'https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social' \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $EVERYINFRA_API_KEY" \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  --data-raw '{
  "platform": "linkedin",
  "action": "employees",
  "params": {
    "company": "google"
  }
}'

[OpenAPI definition (JSON)]Samples read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable; copied code never contains your key.

Response fields

Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.

FieldMeaning
idThe record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms.
urlLink to the record on the platform.
nameName of the object itself, for account, product and business capabilities.
headlineKeeps the platform's own meaning
locationLocation description passed through as is; the format varies by platform.
countryCountry or region: a full name or an ISO code depending on the platform, not normalized.
country_codeKeeps the platform's own meaning
cityCity name in the platform's language, not normalized.
avatar_urlAvatar image link. Some platforms return sized CDN links that can expire.
is_premiumKeeps the platform's own meaning
is_influencerKeeps the platform's own meaning
open_to_workKeeps the platform's own meaning
company_urlLink to the company page.
emailEmail address. On person_profile and profile_search it is a work address inferred from public information and then validated; on employees it is present only when the source gives one. May be empty, and it does not mean the person agreed to marketing contact.
phoneContact phone number, passed through without format normalization.
is_creatorWhether the profile runs in creator mode.
is_top_voiceWhether the profile carries the LinkedIn Top Voice badge.
is_memorializedWhether the account is memorialized (the person has died).
account_created_atAccount creation time; null when the source omits it.
primary_localePrimary locale of the account (e.g. en-US).
postal_codePostal code of the profile location (employees; only when the source gives it).
platformSource platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok).

FAQ

Is this a complete list of a company's employees?

No. It returns a public sample of employees, not the full roster. For headcount, use the employee count reported by LinkedIn Company profile, and treat this list as a view of roles and locations rather than a count of staff.

How do I group employees by country or city?

Use country_code rather than country, which can be a full name or an ISO code depending on the record. city is written in the platform's language and not normalized, so map city names before counting, and fall back to location, the raw place text, when city is empty.

How do I read someone's full profile?

When url is the person's /in/ profile link, pass it to the LinkedIn Person profile capability, which accepts a full profile link and returns the about section, current company, follower and connection counts and more. headline here is only the short line the person wrote about themselves.

Errors and billing

401
Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
422
Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
402
Insufficient balance. Top up first.
429
The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
503
Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
200 empty
The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
