Get a company's LinkedIn page details, including description, industries, specialties, employee count range, followers, headquarters, offices and funding rounds when recorded. company takes the LinkedIn short name or /company/ link, not a registered legal name, and the figures do not certify legal registration or financials.
LinkedIn Company profile reads one company's LinkedIn page and returns its name, tagline, description, website, industries, specialties, employee count, follower count, founding year, headquarters, phone, logo and verification status. Sales and marketing teams use it to enrich account records, recruiters to research employers, and analysts to compare companies by size and audience.
Pass the company's LinkedIn short name in company, such as google, or its /company/ page link; a registered legal name will not find the page. identifier and name are compatibility inputs for the same short name, but company is still required and takes priority. A null follower_count means the number is not disclosed, not that it is zero, and is_verified set to null means the verification status could not be determined.
Price $0.56 per 1,000 requests ($0.000556 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra LinkedIn Company profile endpoint (linkedin/company_profile).
Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to linkedin and action to company_profile, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- company: Specifies the LinkedIn company short name or /company/ profile URL for company_profile and employees, rather than an arbitrary legal business name.
- Optional parameters:
- identifier: The company_profile parameter accepts a company short name or company profile link, though the required company parameter takes precedence. It does not accept personal /in/ usernames.
- name: Provides a compatibility identifier that holds company identifiers in company_profile or serves as a person query term in select person_profile lookups.
- Returns one object. Main fields: id, name, universal_name, url, description, tagline, website, industries, specialties, employee_count, employee_count_range (Employee size band as shown on LinkedIn…), student_count (Accounts listing themselves as students…); 27 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=linkedin.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "linkedin",
"action": "company_profile",
"params": {
"company": "google"
}
}
- Price: $0.56 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters
| Name | In | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Authorization | header | string | Yes | - | Bearer followed by your API key. Create it in the console; never put it in a URL or a code repository. |
platform | body | string | Yes | linkedin | Platform identifier, fixed value. |
action | body | string | Yes | company_profile | Capability identifier, fixed value. |
company | body.params | Not declared | Yes | - | Specifies the LinkedIn company short name or /company/ profile URL for company_profile and employees, rather than an arbitrary legal business name. The employees action expands short names into full company URLs to return a public employee sample, which does not guarantee a complete roster of current staff. |
identifier | body.params | Not declared | No | - | The company_profile parameter accepts a company short name or company profile link, though the required company parameter takes precedence. It does not accept personal /in/ usernames. |
name | body.params | Not declared | No | - | Provides a compatibility identifier that holds company identifiers in company_profile or serves as a person query term in select person_profile lookups. It cannot replace the required company or username parameters, nor does it guarantee exact matching against display names. |

FAQ
What is the company short name?
It is the part after /company/ in the company's LinkedIn page link, such as google in linkedin.com/company/google. Pass it, or the whole link, as company. The returned universal_name holds the same short name, so store it to call this and related LinkedIn capabilities again without looking it up.
How do I see who works at the company?
Pass the same short name or page link to the LinkedIn Employees capability. It returns a public sample of people at the company, not a complete staff list, so use employee_count here for headcount and the employee list for roles and locations.
How do I track the company's follower growth?
Store follower_count from this capability on a schedule, or call LinkedIn Followers with the account path company/<short name>, as in company/openai, which returns follower, following and post counts for that page. Either way each value is a snapshot, so the trend comes from the history you keep.
Errors and billing
- 401
- Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
- 422
- Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
- 402
- Insufficient balance. Top up first.
- 429
- The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
- 503
- Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
- 200 empty
- The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).

Users link to a company Page by selecting that company in their profile experience, which allows for accidental selections and delayed affiliation count updates. Employee page samples and `employee_count` do not constitute an audited list of active employees.
