Get the full JD.com product record for one item_id, including brand, model, price and original price, stock state, variants, barcode, warranty and JD Logistics status. When price_masked is true the displayed price is not exact, and a null stock means not shown, not zero.
JD.com Product details reads one JD product by item_id: title, brand and model, price and original price, availability, stock state, every product image, variants, barcode, origin and warranty text, plus the shop, whether JD sells it directly and whether JD Logistics delivers it. Use it to see what a product costs right now, whether it can be bought and who ships it, for price monitoring, competitor spec sheets and catalog enrichment.
Pass a numeric product ID or a plain item.jd.com product page link without query or fragment; newer opaque product links are not accepted. Before reading the price, check price_masked: JD hides prices behind sign-in or membership conditions, and when it is true price_display is not a precise selling price. available and unavailable_reason say whether the product can be bought now.
Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra JD.com Product details endpoint (jd/product_detail).
Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to jd and action to product_detail, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- item_id: Identifies one JD.com product for product_detail, reviews, or product_price. Pass the digit string returned by search or the canonical legacy URL https://item.jd.com/<digits>.html without a query or fragment.
- Returns one object. Main fields: item_id (JD numeric product ID), url, title, price, price_display (Price string exactly as shown on the JD…), price_masked (Whether JD masked the price on the deta…), currency, available (Whether the item could be bought when i…), unavailable_reason (Public reason JD shows when an item is…), shop_id (JD numeric shop ID), shop_name (Public shop name), shop_url (Public JD shop page); 31 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=jd.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "jd",
"action": "product_detail",
"params": {
"item_id": "https://item.jd.com/100012043978.html"
}
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
item_id | JD numeric product ID. From search results you can pass it straight to detail, reviews, or price calls. |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
title | Title. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts). |
price | Price as a number without a currency symbol; see currency. |
price_display | Price string exactly as shown on the JD page; may be masked by login or membership conditions. |
price_masked | Whether JD masked the price on the detail page. When true, do not treat price_display as the exact transaction price. |
currency | Currency code of the price (for example CNY, USD). If price is present but currency is null, do not assume a currency. |
available | Whether the item could be bought when it was read (product_detail, product_price and shop rows); false when out of stock, null when the page did not say. |
unavailable_reason | Public reason JD shows when an item is not sellable. |
shop_id | JD numeric shop ID. |
shop_name | Public shop name. |
shop_url | Public JD shop page. |
category_id | JD leaf category ID of the product (product_detail). |
category | Category name in the platform's own taxonomy, not normalized across platforms. |
stock | Stock quantity JD shows publicly; null means the page did not give one, not zero. |
stock_state | Public JD stock status code. |
color | This SKU's color (or finish) as shown on the JD page. |
size | This SKU's size, capacity or specification value as shown on the JD page. |
weight | Product weight as written on the JD page (product_detail); null when the page gives none. |
image_url | Image URL: in search, product_detail, shop and skus it is the product's main (cover) image; in description_images it is the description image of that row (the full-size https image on JD's image host). |
image_urls | Product gallery image URLs (cover included, in the order shown on the JD page). The singular image_url is the first of them. The long images in the product's description section are not here; get them with description_images. |
is_jd_self | Whether this is a JD self-operated (JD.com retail) product. |
brand | Product brand. |
model | Product model number. |
original_price | List (original) price shown by JD; may differ from the promotional price. null when the page does not provide one. |
upc | Product barcode (UPC/EAN). null when the page does not provide one. |
warranty | Warranty terms, as written on the page. |
product_area | Place of origin. |
is_jd_express | Whether the item ships via JD Logistics. |
variant_count | Number of variants (SKUs). null when there are none or it is not provided. Every skus row carries the same value: when it is larger than the number of rows returned, limit cut the list short or some SKUs were not retrieved this time. |
variants | Variant list. Each entry carries name, SKU ID, price, stock, stock state, and image URL where available; null when there are none or it is not provided. |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
FAQ
Which formats does item_id accept?
A numeric JD product ID, or https://item.jd.com/<number>.html with no query string or fragment. Newer opaque links under /product/ are not accepted. The item_id from JD search results works as is.
Why is the price sometimes hidden?
JD masks product page prices behind sign-in or membership conditions. When price_masked is true, price_display is the text the page shows rather than a precise selling price, so flag those rows separately when you track prices.
How do I tell if a product is unavailable?
Read available, the current sale status; when the product cannot be bought, unavailable_reason gives the reason shown on JD. stock_state is JD's public stock status code, worth storing alongside if you track availability over time.
Errors and billing
- 401
- Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
- 422
- Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
- 402
- Insufficient balance. Top up first.
- 429
- The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
- 503
- Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
- 200 empty
- The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).

- JD.com: Displayed-price Labels and Conditional Purchase Prices ↗
JD.com distinguishes a real-time displayed label from final item prices and member, new-user, regional, or targeted benefits, while noting that some comparison information can be delayed or incomplete. Treat a returned price as the visible request-time snapshot, not a personal transaction price, settlement amount, or guarantee of absolute accuracy.
