Get a company's Glassdoor profile from its Overview or Reviews url: website, headquarters, size and revenue bands, industry, founding year, competitors and employer awards. The URL must keep the company slug and its numeric ID.

Glassdoor Details reads the company profile behind one Glassdoor company page: the name and short name, Glassdoor's company ID, website, description, headquarters, size band, revenue band, founding year, industry, stock symbol, logo and cover image, and links to the company's reviews, jobs, salaries and interviews pages. Recruiters, sales teams and market researchers use it to enrich company records and to anchor further Glassdoor research on the right employer.

Pass the company's Overview or Reviews page url with its slug and E or IE number intact, copied whole from the browser. Only listed companies have a stock_symbol, and size and revenue are bands rather than exact figures. Store company_id as the company's key, and keep name for display.

Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Glassdoor Details endpoint (glassdoor/profile).

Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to glassdoor and action to profile, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - url: A full Glassdoor company Overview or Reviews URL that preserves the company slug and its E or IE numeric identifier. The profile, reviews, salaries, interviews, and jobs actions are scoped to that company.
- Returns one object. Main fields: name, short_name, company_id, website, description, headquarters, size, revenue, type, founded_year, stock_symbol, industry; 20 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=glassdoor.
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "glassdoor",
  "action": "profile",
  "params": {
    "url": "https://www.glassdoor.com/Overview/Working-at-Google-EI_IE9079.11,17.htm"
  }
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

Request parameters

FAQ

Are size and revenue exact figures?

No. size is a band of employee counts and revenue a band of revenue as Glassdoor shows them, so store them as ranges rather than single numbers. When you need a sortable value, map each band to its lower and upper bound and keep the original label beside it.

How do I get to the company's reviews, salaries or interviews?

Reuse the url you passed here: the Glassdoor Reviews, Salaries, Interviews and Jobs capabilities all take the same Overview or Reviews page link. reviews_url, salaries_url, interviews_url and jobs_url are the matching pages on Glassdoor, handy for linking readers to the source.

What if I only know the company's name?

Look it up with Glassdoor Search first. It takes the company name as its search term and returns matching companies with their Glassdoor links; pass the right one here as url. This saves you from guessing the E or IE number that a hand-built link would need.

Errors and billing

401
Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
422
Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
402
Insufficient balance. Top up first.
429
The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
503
Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
200 empty
The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
