Look up a Dailymotion channel from its page link for handle, display name, description, follower count, total videos, creation date and recent uploads. Private channel analytics are not exposed, and the result does not verify who owns the channel.

Dailymotion Channel reads one channel page and returns who is behind it: the channel ID, handle, name and display name, description, avatar, follower count, total number of videos, creation date and recent videos. Use it to size up a publisher or creator on Dailymotion, compare channels before a partnership or an ad buy, or keep a reference record for each channel you monitor.

Pass the full channel link, such as https://www.dailymotion.com/euronews-en. video_count is the channel's total output, a quick measure of its size, and created_at tells you how long it has existed. A null follower_count means the number is hidden rather than zero, and description holds the channel's own short summary.

Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.

`channel_id`	Keeps the platform's own meaning
`username`	Username (@handle).
`name`	Name of the object itself, for account, product and business capabilities.
`display_name`	Display name; can differ from username.
`description`	Summary or description, usually shorter than text.
`url`	Link to the record on the platform.
`avatar_url`	Avatar image link. Some platforms return sized CDN links that can expire.
`follower_count`	Followers. null means not disclosed, not 0.
`video_count`	Keeps the platform's own meaning
`created_at`	Creation time, same format as posted_at.
`recent_videos`	Recently published videos, each with its title, link, view count, duration and so on; absent when there are none.
`platform`	Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok).

Which link does Dailymotion Channel take?

The channel page link, such as https://www.dailymotion.com/euronews-en. Single-video links, which contain /video/, are not accepted. If you start from a video, read it with Dailymotion Video details first: its channel link is the address to pass here.

How do I get the numbers for each video on a channel?

This capability describes the channel as a whole, with its total video_count. For one row per video with views, likes, comments, length and tags, pass the same channel link to the Dailymotion Channel videos capability.

Errors and billing

401: Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
422: Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
402: Insufficient balance. Top up first.
429: The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
503: Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
200 empty: The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
