Search a chosen Amazon marketplace by keyword for each product's ASIN, brand, price and list price, rating count, stock status and seller. Set the store with domain, such as amazon.co.uk, and read prices within it; lang alone does not change the country.
Amazon Search finds products by keyword and returns each one's ASIN, title, brand, price and list price, rating and rating count, stock status, category, image, seller and whether it carries the Amazon's Choice badge. Use it to see what products a keyword brings up, at what prices and with what ratings: cross-border product research, scanning competitor prices, or reading the market behind a keyword.
Choose the country store with domain, such as amazon.co.uk, and the page language with lang; Simplified and Traditional Chinese are zhcn and zhtw. Choosing a language does not switch stores. Build product links from asin and pass them to the Amazon Details or Reviews capability to go deeper, and keep in mind that a rating backed by a small rating_count says little.
Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Amazon Search endpoint (amazon/search).
Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to amazon and action to search, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- keyword: Specifies the primary search string according to the requested Amazon action. In search, pass the product search terms.
- Optional parameters:
- domain: Specifies the Amazon country domain without a scheme or path, such as amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, or amazon.co.jp.
- lang: Specifies the page language for supported Amazon endpoints using valid codes such as en or ja. Use zhcn for Simplified Chinese and zhtw for Traditional Chinese instead of a generic zh code. (allowed: ar / bn / cs / da / de / en / es / fr)
- limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 50. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 10)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: asin (Amazon Standard Identification Number,…), title, url, brand (Brand), price, list_price (List (strike-through) price), currency, rating, rating_scale, rating_count, in_stock (Whether the product is in stock), category; 19 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=amazon.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "amazon",
"action": "search",
"params": {
"keyword": "coffee grinder"
}
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters
| Name | In | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Authorization | header | string | Yes | - | Bearer followed by your API key. Create it in the console; never put it in a URL or a code repository. |
platform | body | string | Yes | amazon | Platform identifier, fixed value. |
action | body | string | Yes | search | Capability identifier, fixed value. |
keyword | body.params | Not declared | Yes | - | Specifies the primary search string according to the requested Amazon action. In search, pass the product search terms. In bestsellers, pass a full Amazon bestsellers category URL or a category short name used to build the path. In sellers, pass a product or seller page URL; raw search terms generate a product search page rather than looking up a seller ID directly. |
domain | body.params | Not declared | No | - | Specifies the Amazon country domain without a scheme or path, such as amazon.com, amazon.co.uk, or amazon.co.jp. The search action uses this value to build search URLs, while reviews uses it to select the target review store. It defaults to amazon.com, but non-US review requests should explicitly supply the domain that matches the product URL. |
lang | body.params | enum | No | - | Specifies the page language for supported Amazon endpoints using valid codes such as en or ja. Use zhcn for Simplified Chinese and zhtw for Traditional Chinese instead of a generic zh code. Requests accept only the language codes listed for the action, and selecting a language alters the rendered content rather than changing the target country store.Allowed valuesarbncsdadeenesfrhehijaknkomlmrtanlplptsvtatetrzhcnzhtw |
limit | body.params | integer (1–50) | No | 10 | The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 50. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. |

Response example
Captured September 26, 2026 at 08:56 (UTC) by calling this API with the parameters in the code sample above. results and count are that call's real response with personal information (names, handles, avatars, profile links, contact details) removed; the list keeps the first 2. id, billing and quota differ on every call, so only their shape is shown.

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
asin | Amazon Standard Identification Number, the product's unique ID within a store. |
title | Title. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts). |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
brand | Brand. |
price | Price as a number without a currency symbol; see currency. |
list_price | List (strike-through) price. |
currency | Currency code of the price (for example CNY, USD). If price is present but currency is null, do not assume a currency. |
rating | Rating. The scale varies by platform: rating_scale on the same row gives the maximum (usually 5; Booking, Douban, iQIYI and NAVER use 10). Convert with rating_scale before comparing across platforms, or the comparison can come out backwards. |
rating_scale | Maximum of rating in the same row: 5 for five-star scales, 10 for ten-point scales. Present only when the row has a rating. |
rating_count | Number of people who rated. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
in_stock | Whether the product is in stock. |
category | Category name in the platform's own taxonomy, not normalized across platforms. |
image_url | Image link. Capabilities with several images may return an image_urls array. |
description | Summary or description, usually shorter than text. |
is_amazon_choice | Whether the product carries the Amazon's Choice badge. |
seller_name | Seller name. |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
images | Array of image links in the platform's display order; absent when there are no images. |
features | Bullet-point feature list from the product page (search, profile), as written; absent when there is none. |
bestseller_ranks | Best Sellers ranks (search, profile): each item has rank and category, one entry per category; the rank at read time, not a sales figure. |
FAQ
How do I search other country stores?
Pass the store domain in domain, for example amazon.co.uk or amazon.co.jp, without https:// or a path; it defaults to amazon.com. lang changes only the page language and never switches stores.
Which values does lang take?
Only the language codes listed for this capability, such as en, ja or de. Simplified Chinese is zhcn and Traditional Chinese is zhtw; a bare zh is not accepted. The language changes page text, not the store you search.
How do I get reviews for a product I found?
Build the product link from asin, such as https://www.amazon.com/dp/<ASIN>, and pass it to the Amazon Reviews capability. Use the store you searched, and for a non-US store send the same domain to Reviews too; without it, reviews are read from amazon.com and will not match.
Errors and billing
- 401
- Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
- 422
- Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
- 402
- Insufficient balance. Top up first.
- 429
- The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
- 503
- Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
- 200 empty
- The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
