Look up a single Amazon product from its ASIN link for title, brand, price, rating, stock status, feature bullets, images and bestseller ranks. Here profile means the product page, not a buyer or seller profile, and in_stock is not a reserved quantity.
Amazon Details reads one product from its link: ASIN, title, brand, price and list price, rating and rating count, stock status, category, every image, the feature bullets, description, seller, bestseller ranks and whether it carries the Amazon's Choice badge. Use it to take a competitor's product apart, enrich your product records or track prices.
Pass a product link such as https://www.amazon.com/dp/<ASIN>; details here mean the product, not a user profile. Set lang for the page language, with zhcn for Simplified Chinese. Read the currency from currency; list_price is the struck-through price, so together with price it gives the discount.
Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Amazon Details endpoint (amazon/profile).
Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to amazon and action to profile, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- url: Specifies an Amazon product URL, such as https://www.amazon.com/dp/<ASIN>. The reviews action extracts a 10-character uppercase alphanumeric ASIN from /dp/, /gp/product/, or /product-reviews/ paths.
- Optional parameters:
- lang: Specifies the page language for supported Amazon endpoints using valid codes such as en or ja. Use zhcn for Simplified Chinese and zhtw for Traditional Chinese instead of a generic zh code. (allowed: ar / bn / cs / da / de / en / es / fr)
- Returns one object. Main fields: asin (Amazon Standard Identification Number,…), title, url, brand (Brand), price, list_price (List (strike-through) price), currency, rating, rating_scale, rating_count, in_stock (Whether the product is in stock), category; 19 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=amazon.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "amazon",
"action": "profile",
"params": {
"url": "https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09B8V1LZ3"
}
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters
| Name | In | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Authorization | header | string | Yes | - | Bearer followed by your API key. Create it in the console; never put it in a URL or a code repository. |
platform | body | string | Yes | amazon | Platform identifier, fixed value. |
action | body | string | Yes | profile | Capability identifier, fixed value. |
url | body.params | Not declared | Yes | - | Specifies an Amazon product URL, such as https://www.amazon.com/dp/<ASIN>. The reviews action extracts a 10-character uppercase alphanumeric ASIN from /dp/, /gp/product/, or /product-reviews/ paths; store homepages are not supported. For this parameter, profile fetches the product details page rather than user profile data. |
lang | body.params | enum | No | - | Specifies the page language for supported Amazon endpoints using valid codes such as en or ja. Use zhcn for Simplified Chinese and zhtw for Traditional Chinese instead of a generic zh code. Requests accept only the language codes listed for the action, and selecting a language alters the rendered content rather than changing the target country store.Allowed valuesarbncsdadeenesfrhehijaknkomlmrtanlplptsvtatetrzhcnzhtw |

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
asin | Amazon Standard Identification Number, the product's unique ID within a store. |
title | Title. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts). |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
brand | Brand. |
price | Price as a number without a currency symbol; see currency. |
list_price | List (strike-through) price. |
currency | Currency code of the price (for example CNY, USD). If price is present but currency is null, do not assume a currency. |
rating | Rating. The scale varies by platform: rating_scale on the same row gives the maximum (usually 5; Booking, Douban, iQIYI and NAVER use 10). Convert with rating_scale before comparing across platforms, or the comparison can come out backwards. |
rating_scale | Maximum of rating in the same row: 5 for five-star scales, 10 for ten-point scales. Present only when the row has a rating. |
rating_count | Number of people who rated. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
in_stock | Whether the product is in stock. |
category | Category name in the platform's own taxonomy, not normalized across platforms. |
image_url | Image link. Capabilities with several images may return an image_urls array. |
description | Summary or description, usually shorter than text. |
is_amazon_choice | Whether the product carries the Amazon's Choice badge. |
seller_name | Seller name. |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
images | Array of image links in the platform's display order; absent when there are no images. |
features | Bullet-point feature list from the product page (search, profile), as written; absent when there is none. |
bestseller_ranks | Best Sellers ranks (search, profile): each item has rank and category, one entry per category; the rank at read time, not a sales figure. |
FAQ
Does Details return a user profile?
No. On Amazon it reads product details: pass a product link and get the product's price, rating, images, seller and related data. No user information is involved at any point.
How do I work out a product's discount?
Compare list_price, the struck-through price, with price, the current price, in the currency given by currency. When there is no list_price, do not assume the product is discounted.
Can I compare ratings with other marketplaces directly?
Convert first: rating_scale gives the maximum, five on Amazon, so scale ratings before comparing across marketplaces. Read them with rating_count too, since ratings from few people swing widely.
Errors and billing
- 401
- Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
- 422
- Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
- 402
- Insufficient balance. Top up first.
- 429
- The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
- 503
- Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
- 200 empty
- The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
