See the name, description, avatar and type, subscription or service, of one WeChat Official Account, plus its account_id and the biz key that links its articles back to it. Only the visible profile is read; the admin backend stays closed and the owner is not validated.

WeChat Official Account details reads the public profile of the account named in account: its name, description, avatar, account type and two identifiers, account_id and biz. It tells you which account you are dealing with and what kind it is, for teams that vet accounts before a partnership, keep a directory of media accounts, or need a fixed key to join articles and comments to the account that published them.

account_type tells subscription accounts apart from service accounts, so you can filter or compare the two kinds separately. description is the account's own short introduction, useful for classifying accounts by topic, and name is the display name, which is not the same thing as the WeChat ID you may have passed in. biz is the __biz value carried in the account's article links, which makes it the field that ties article URLs back to this profile.

Price $5.56 per 1,000 requests ($0.005556 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra WeChat Official Accounts Account details endpoint (wechat_oa/account_profile).

Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to wechat_oa and action to account_profile, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - account: Identifies the target WeChat Official Account using its WeChat ID, raw ID (starting with gh_), or a resolvable account/article URL. It does not accept personal WeChat IDs.
- Returns one object. Main fields: account_id (Official Account ID (its WeChat ID)), name, account_type, description, avatar_url, biz.
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "wechat_oa",
  "action": "account_profile",
  "params": {
    "account": "36氪"
  }
}
- Price: $5.56 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

FAQ

Which identifier should I use for account?

The gh_ raw ID is the most precise choice, since it is unique within WeChat. The account's WeChat ID, or a link that resolves to the account such as one of its article URLs, also works. A personal WeChat ID belongs to an individual user rather than an Official Account, so it cannot be looked up here.

What is biz used for?

biz is the value of the __biz parameter that appears in the account's article links on mp.weixin.qq.com. Store it with the profile: when you later collect article links from search results or shares, the __biz in each link tells you which account published it without relying on the display name.

How do I find out who owns an account?

This capability returns the public profile only. Pass the same account value to the WeChat Account owner capability for the company or person registered behind the account, and to Account articles or Today's account articles for what the account publishes.

Errors and billing

401
Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
422
Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
402
Insufficient balance. Top up first.
429
The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
503
Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
200 empty
The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
