Check a Truth Social account's display name, bio, location, follower, following and post counts, verification and creation date by handle. is_private and is_verified reflect visible signals only; they neither widen access nor stand in for an identity check.

Truth Social Details reads the public profile of one Truth Social account from its handle and returns a single record: user_id, handle, display name, bio, location, follower, following and post counts, verification and privacy flags, avatar and header images, and the account's creation date. Researchers, journalists and media monitors use it to identify an account, size its audience and see how long it has existed before they track or cite what it posts.

Send the handle with or without the @; username is required, so every request names its account explicitly. location is passed through exactly as the profile shows it, and bio may contain line breaks and emoji. Treat a null follower, following or post count as undisclosed, and a null is_verified as unknown rather than unverified.

Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Truth Social Details endpoint (truth_social/profile).

Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to truth_social and action to profile, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - username: A Truth Social account handle, with or without @; this is not a display name or profile URL.
- Returns one object. Main fields: user_id, username, display_name, bio, url, external_url, location, follower_count, following_count, post_count, is_verified, is_private; 15 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=truth_social.
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "truth_social",
  "action": "profile",
  "params": {
    "username": "<TRUTH_SOCIAL_USERNAME>"
  }
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

Code samples

bash
curl -X POST 'https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social' \
  -H "Authorization: Bearer $EVERYINFRA_API_KEY" \
  -H 'Content-Type: application/json' \
  --data-raw '{

[OpenAPI definition (JSON)]Samples read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable; copied code never contains your key.

FAQ

What do I pass as username?

The account's handle, the name after the @ on its profile and in its profile link; the leading @ is optional. Use the handle rather than the display name, which can differ from it; the result shows the display name separately in display_name, next to the username you asked for.

How do I read the account's posts and replies?

Use the same handle with the Truth Social Posts by user capability for the account's posts, and with Truth Social Replies for the replies the account itself has written to other posts. Both take username in the same form as this capability.

What does is_private mean for my analysis?

When it is true, the account keeps its posts from the public, so the profile may be all you can read about it. Check it before you schedule post collection, and keep private accounts on a separate list rather than recording them as accounts that never post.

Errors and billing

401
Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
422
Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
402
Insufficient balance. Top up first.
429
The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
503
Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
200 empty
The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
