Check a TikTok account's follower, following, post and like totals by handle, with a precision flag for rounded numbers. It returns counts, not the names of the people who follow.
TikTok Followers looks up one public account by username and returns its counts: followers, accounts followed, total posts and likes, with the account ID, handle and profile link. It returns counts rather than profile details, which suits jobs where the numbers are the point: recording account size on a schedule, checking a creator's reach before a campaign, or comparing a set of accounts on the same day.
A null count means TikTok did not disclose it, which is different from zero. precision flags how exact the figures are, so check it before you treat a large round number as precise. Each call is a snapshot of that moment, and url gives the profile link if you want to check an account by eye.
Price $0.56 per 1,000 requests ($0.000556 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra TikTok Followers endpoint (tiktok/followers).
Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to tiktok and action to followers, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- username: Public TikTok handle, which may optionally include the leading @. Do not supply Douyin secUid tokens or full profile URLs. In followers, this returns follower counts.
- Optional parameters:
- channel: Compatibility account handle input for the followers action. Precedence is lower than username. It is not used for TikTok Shop product searches.
- Returns one object. Main fields: id, username, url, follower_count, following_count, post_count, like_count, connection_count, precision.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "tiktok",
"action": "followers",
"params": {
"username": "nasa"
}
}
- Price: $0.56 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters
| Name | In | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Authorization | header | string | Yes | - | Bearer followed by your API key. Create it in the console; never put it in a URL or a code repository. |
platform | body | string | Yes | tiktok | Platform identifier, fixed value. |
action | body | string | Yes | followers | Capability identifier, fixed value. |
username | body.params | Not declared | Yes | - | Public TikTok handle, which may optionally include the leading @. Do not supply Douyin secUid tokens or full profile URLs. In followers, this returns follower counts; in shop_creator, it queries creator e-commerce details for a designated market. |
channel | body.params | Not declared | No | - | Compatibility account handle input for the followers action. Precedence is lower than username. It is not used for TikTok Shop product searches. |

Captured September 26, 2026 at 08:56 (UTC) by calling this API with the parameters in the code sample above. results and count are that call's real response with personal information (names, handles, avatars, profile links, contact details) removed. id, billing and quota differ on every call, so only their shape is shown.

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
id | The record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms. |
username | Username (@handle). |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
follower_count | Followers. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
following_count | Accounts followed. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
post_count | Total posts. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
like_count | Likes. null means the platform or this capability does not disclose it; it is not 0. |
connection_count | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
precision | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
FAQ
Does TikTok Followers list the accounts that follow someone?
No. It returns the counts for one account: follower_count, following_count, post_count and like_count. For the profile itself, with bio and verification status, call the TikTok Details capability with the same handle.
What goes in username?
The handle from the profile link, the part after the @, with or without the @ itself; for tiktok.com/@nasa that is nasa. A full profile URL or a Douyin secUid does not work. channel is accepted as a compatibility input, but when both are sent username takes priority.
How do I track follower growth over time?
Call it for the same handle at a fixed interval and store follower_count with the time of each call; the difference between calls is the growth. Key your records on id rather than the handle, because a creator can change the handle while the ID stays the same.
Errors and billing
- 401
- Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
- 422
- Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
- 402
- Insufficient balance. Top up first.
- 429
- The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
- 503
- Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
- 200 empty
- The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).

- TikTok: Differences Between Username and Display Nickname ↗
TikTok separates username from nickname: username forms the @ handle and profile URL, while nickname is the display name shown to other users. Changing a username will also change the profile URL.
