Collect a Patreon creator's posts by short name or /c/ link, with title, post type, publish time, like and comment counts and whether each post is open to everyone. Patron-only posts stay locked, and restricted attachments are not delivered.

Patreon Posts by user lists the posts one creator has published on Patreon, given the creator's username. Each row carries the title, text, post_type, publish time, like and comment counts, a thumbnail, a link, the creator's short name in author_vanity, and is_public, which says whether everyone can see the post. It answers what a creator publishes and how often, for brands and agencies studying creators they may sponsor, researchers comparing output across a niche, and creators benchmarking their own schedule.

username takes the short name, with or without an @, or a Patreon link that contains /c/ and the short name. Only public information is read: when is_public is false the post is reserved for patrons and the body behind the paywall is not included, so filter on it before you analyze text. A null like or comment count means the figure was not disclosed, not zero.

Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Patreon Posts by user endpoint (patreon/user_posts).

Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to patreon and action to user_posts, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - username: Specifies the creator vanity slug for the profile and user_posts actions. Accepts @slug, a raw handle, or a Patreon URL containing /c/slug.
- Optional parameters:
  - limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 50. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 20)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: id, title, text, url, post_type, like_count, comment_count, is_public, author_vanity, thumbnail_url, posted_at.
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "patreon",
  "action": "user_posts",
  "params": {
    "username": "kurzgesagt"
  }
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

Code samples

bash
curl -X POST 'https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social' \

Response fields

Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.

FieldMeaning
idThe record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms.
titleTitle. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts).
textBody text with HTML removed, returned in full and never cut short (on a few platforms the list results themselves carry only an excerpt; the platform's field notes say so).
urlLink to the record on the platform.
post_typeKeeps the platform's own meaning
like_countLikes. null means the platform or this capability does not disclose it; it is not 0.
comment_countComments. null means not disclosed, not 0.
is_publicKeeps the platform's own meaning
author_vanityKeeps the platform's own meaning
thumbnail_urlThumbnail link, lower resolution than image_url.
posted_atPublish time in ISO 8601, UTC (for example 2026-08-07T12:34:56+00:00). Non-standard strings from the platform are passed through as is, so parse defensively. null means the platform does not disclose it.
platformSource platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok).

FAQ

What can I pass as username?

The creator's short name, such as kurzgesagt, written with or without an @, or a Patreon link that contains /c/kurzgesagt. Patreon Search returns this short name in its results, so you can pass it straight from a search row to Patreon Posts by user.

Can I read posts behind the paywall?

No. Patreon Posts by user reads public information only and does not provide paywalled text. Posts that only patrons can see carry is_public set to false; analyze text from public posts, and use fields such as post_type and posted_at, where present, to describe the creator's output as a whole.

How can I measure how active a creator is?

Count posts per month from posted_at and split them by post_type to see the mix of formats. Comparing public posts with patron-only ones through is_public shows how much a creator keeps for patrons. Treat a null like_count or comment_count as missing rather than zero when you compare engagement.

Errors and billing

401
Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
422
Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
402
Insufficient balance. Top up first.
429
The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
503
Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
200 empty
The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
