Find open roles on Naukri for job keywords such as Python developer, with employer, location, required experience, salary and posting date. Salary is usually in Indian rupees, so read it with currency; nothing is applied for on your behalf.

Naukri Search looks up job postings on Naukri by keyword, such as python developer, and returns each one's title, employer, location, required experience, salary and currency, description, posting time and link, plus contact details when the posting lists them. It shows which employers are hiring for a skill and on what terms. Recruiters, staffing firms and labor market analysts use it to gauge demand for a role in India, benchmark pay and build lists of hiring companies.

Results come back in relevance order, with no date filter or sort option; for one employer's openings with those controls, use Naukri Company jobs. salary is mostly in Indian rupees, so read currency before you convert anything, and never assume a currency when it is null. Contact fields such as email and phone are passed through without normalization, so clean them before you match records.

Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.

AI prompt

Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.

Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Naukri Search endpoint (naukri/search).

Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to naukri and action to search, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
  - keyword: Specifies job search keywords (such as Python developer) for querying open roles in search, rather than accepting company IDs.
- Optional parameters:
  - limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 200. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 50)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: id, url, title, company_name, location, experience, salary, currency, text, posted_at, email, emails; 13 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=naukri.
- Example request body:
{
  "platform": "naukri",
  "action": "search",
  "params": {
    "keyword": "python developer"
  }
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.

Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.

Real response

Captured September 26, 2026 at 08:56 (UTC) by calling this API with the parameters in the code sample above. results and count are that call's real response with personal information (names, handles, avatars, profile links, contact details) removed; the list keeps the first 2. id, billing and quota differ on every call, so only their shape is shown.

Response fields

Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.

FieldMeaning
idThe record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms.
urlLink to the record on the platform.
titleTitle. null when the platform has no titles (for example text-only posts).
company_nameKeeps the platform's own meaning
locationLocation description passed through as is; the format varies by platform.
experienceKeeps the platform's own meaning
salaryKeeps the platform's own meaning
currencyCurrency code of the price (for example CNY, USD). If price is present but currency is null, do not assume a currency.
textBody text with HTML removed, returned in full and never cut short (on a few platforms the list results themselves carry only an excerpt; the platform's field notes say so).
posted_atPublish time in ISO 8601, UTC (for example 2026-08-07T12:34:56+00:00). Non-standard strings from the platform are passed through as is, so parse defensively. null means the platform does not disclose it.
emailContact email address, passed through as is.
emailsContact email addresses (a record can have several), passed through as is with duplicates removed.
phoneContact phone number, passed through without format normalization.
platformSource platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok).

FAQ

Can I sort Naukri search results by date?

No. Search returns results in relevance order and has no date filter. Fetch the results and order them by posted_at yourself, or, for a single employer, use Naukri Company jobs, which offers newest-first sorting and posting windows from the last 24 hours to the last 90 days.

Can keyword be a company name or ID?

keyword is a job search term, such as python developer, not a company ID. To list one company's openings, pass its Naukri or Naukrigulf company page link to Naukri Company jobs. company_name on each row tells you which employer posted the job.

How do I compare experience requirements?

experience gives the years of experience a job asks for as a band, the way the Indian job market grades roles. Split each band into a minimum and a maximum before you compare or group jobs, and keep the original text next to the numbers you derive.

Errors and billing

401
Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
422
Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
402
Insufficient balance. Top up first.
429
The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
503
Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
200 empty
The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).

  • Naukri: Job search versus application workflows ↗

    Naukri separates job discovery by skills, job titles, or company names from downstream application steps, supplemental questionnaires, and redirects to external corporate career sites. This action only retrieves job listings; official site filters like location and salary are not automatically available as public parameters here.
