Find commercial real estate for sale or lease on Crexi, with address, asking price, square footage, property type, status, brokerage and opportunity-zone flag. A US state code in keyword, state or states filters by state, and price filters can still return unpriced listings.
Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra Crexi Search endpoint (crexi/search).
Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to crexi and action to search, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- keyword: Serves as the required search parameter for Crexi commercial real estate, but functions as a state filter when supplied as a US state postal code (such as TX, CA, or FL) rather than a free-text property title search.
- Optional parameters:
- max_price: Filters Crexi listings by maximum asking price in USD. The value is converted to an integer before the search request.
- min_price: Filters listings by minimum asking price in USD. Accepts numeric values, ideally integers. This parameter does not evaluate capitalization rate or price per square foot, and is ignored by direct property_detail requests.
- property_types: Filters commercial real estate by asset category using a string or array of strings, such as Office, Retail, or Multifamily.
- sort: Sorts Crexi search results descending by relevance (directory match strength, default) or newest (listing date order). (allowed: newest / relevance)
- state: Filters by a single US state postal code, such as TX. Read only when states is omitted, and takes precedence over keyword state filtering. To query multiple states simultaneously, use the states array instead.
- states: Filters search results by US state postal codes using a string or an array of strings, such as TX or ["TX", "CA"], automatically converted to uppercase. Precedence follows states over state over keyword.
- transaction_type: Filters listings by transaction mode: sale (default) or lease, case-insensitive. Any other value, such as rent, returns 422 instead of switching to sale. (allowed: lease / sale)
- limit: The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 100. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. (default: 20)
- Returns a list of records. Main fields of each record: id, url, name, text, address, city, county, state, postal_code, latitude, longitude, price; 22 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=crexi.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "crexi",
"action": "search",
"params": {
"keyword": "TX"
}
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters
| Name | In | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Authorization | header | string | Yes | - | Bearer followed by your API key. Create it in the console; never put it in a URL or a code repository. |
platform | body | string | Yes | crexi | Platform identifier, fixed value. |
action | body | string | Yes | search | Capability identifier, fixed value. |
keyword | body.params | Not declared | Yes | - | Serves as the required search parameter for Crexi commercial real estate, but functions as a state filter when supplied as a US state postal code (such as TX, CA, or FL) rather than a free-text property title search. Providing state or states overrides this selection, though keyword remains required. |
max_price | body.params | Not declared | No | - | Filters Crexi listings by maximum asking price in USD. The value is converted to an integer before the search request. Results can still include properties without a public asking price, so this parameter does not guarantee that every returned listing has a price. |
min_price | body.params | Not declared | No | - | Filters listings by minimum asking price in USD. Accepts numeric values, ideally integers. This parameter does not evaluate capitalization rate or price per square foot, and is ignored by direct property_detail requests. |
property_types | body.params | Not declared | No | - | Filters commercial real estate by asset category using a string or array of strings, such as Office, Retail, or Multifamily. Applies strictly to search filtering rather than residential layouts, and is ignored by direct property_detail lookup requests. |
sort | body.params | enum | No | - | Sorts Crexi search results descending by relevance (directory match strength, default) or newest (listing date order). It does not sort by last_updated timestamp or capitalization rate, and is ignored when retrieving properties directly by ID.Allowed valuesnewestrelevance |
state | body.params | Not declared | No | - | Filters by a single US state postal code, such as TX. Read only when states is omitted, and takes precedence over keyword state filtering. To query multiple states simultaneously, use the states array instead. |
states | body.params | Not declared | No | - | Filters search results by US state postal codes using a string or an array of strings, such as TX or ["TX", "CA"], automatically converted to uppercase. Precedence follows states over state over keyword. Accepts state codes only, not city names or country codes. |
transaction_type | body.params | enum | No | - | Filters listings by transaction mode: sale (default) or lease, case-insensitive. Any other value, such as rent, returns 422 instead of switching to sale.Allowed valuesleasesale |
limit | body.params | integer (1–100) | No | 20 | The most rows to return in this call, an integer from 1 to 100. The default applies when you leave it out, and a call can return fewer rows. Larger values return 422 before any charge. |

}Response fields
Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
id | The record's unique ID on the platform. Unique only within one platform; IDs can repeat across platforms. |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
name | Name of the object itself, for account, product and business capabilities. |
text | Body text with HTML removed, returned in full and never cut short (on a few platforms the list results themselves carry only an excerpt; the platform's field notes say so). |
address | Full address, passed through as is. |
city | City name in the platform's language, not normalized. |
county | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
state | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
postal_code | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
latitude | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
longitude | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
price | Price as a number without a currency symbol; see currency. |
area_sqft | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
property_types | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
status | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
brokerage_name | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
posted_at | Publish time in ISO 8601, UTC (for example 2026-08-07T12:34:56+00:00). Non-standard strings from the platform are passed through as is, so parse defensively. null means the platform does not disclose it. |
updated_at | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
image_url | Image link. Capabilities with several images may return an image_urls array. |
is_sold | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
is_unpriced | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
in_opportunity_zone | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
platform | Source platform identifier, the same as platform in the request (for example xiaohongshu, tiktok). |
Errors and billing
- 401
- Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
- 422
- Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
- 402
- Insufficient balance. Top up first.
- 429
- The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
- 503
- Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
- 200 empty
- The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
