Get the App Store listing for one app by numeric app_id, including developer, bundle ID, version, release notes, price, age rating and current-version ratings. A full app link also works but a Bundle ID does not; the record reflects the live listing, not App Store Connect or past versions.
App Store Details reads one app's listing on Apple's App Store by app_id and returns its record: name, developer, bundle ID, description and release notes, current version, price, rating and rating count for all versions and for the current one, age rating, category, minimum OS version, install size, icon, and the first-release and last-update dates. Product managers, growth marketers and investors use it to benchmark competing apps, follow release cadence and see how a new version lands with users.
app_id is Apple's numeric ID, the number after id in the App Store link, and the full link works too. Listings are per storefront, so set country to the store you care about; it defaults to the US store. After a major update, current_version_rating reflects the app in its present form more accurately than the all-time rating. price is a number with its code in currency, while formatted_price is the text the store displays. file_size_bytes is in bytes, and a null rating_count means Apple does not disclose the number, which is different from zero ratings.
Price $1.39 per 1,000 requests ($0.001389 per call). Failed calls and empty results are not charged. Synchronous. For slow jobs add "mode": "async" to the body, take the job_id and poll.
AI prompt
Paste this into your AI assistant. It already holds this endpoint's parameters, response fields and an example request, so the assistant can ask what you need and then write the scraper.
Please help me write a data collection script with the EveryInfra App Store Details endpoint (app_store/profile).
Endpoint contract:
- Request: POST https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social with the header Authorization: Bearer <API key>. Read the key from the EVERYINFRA_API_KEY environment variable and never hard-code it.
- In the request body, set platform to app_store and action to profile, and put the parameters inside params.
- Required parameters:
- app_id: Specifies Apple's numeric app identifier, such as the digits after id in an application link. You can also pass a full App Store app URL, and the platform will extract the numeric ID.
- Optional parameters:
- country: Selects the App Store storefront for search, profile, and reviews using a lowercase two-letter country code such as us, cn, or jp. The default is us.
- Returns one object. Main fields: app_id, name, url, bundle_id, developer, developer_id, developer_url, description, release_notes, version, price, currency; 28 fields in total, full list at https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/social/catalog?platform=app_store.
- Example request body:
{
"platform": "app_store",
"action": "profile",
"params": {
"app_id": "389801252"
}
}
- Price: $1.39 per 1,000 requests; failed and empty results are not charged.
- For dozens or hundreds of targets, add "mode": "async" to the body: you get a job_id at once and poll GET https://api.everyinfra.com/api/v1/jobs/{job_id} for the result.
- On 422, fix the request using the suggested parameter names and allowed values in the error; on 429 or 503, wait for Retry-After and try again.
Before writing code, ask me which targets I need, how many, which fields, and what output format I want; then confirm the plan and the rough cost with me.Request parameters
| Name | In | Type | Required | Default | Description |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Authorization | header | string | Yes | - | Bearer followed by your API key. Create it in the console; never put it in a URL or a code repository. |
platform | body | string | Yes | app_store | Platform identifier, fixed value. |
action | body | string | Yes | profile | Capability identifier, fixed value. |
app_id | body.params | Not declared | Yes | - | Specifies Apple's numeric app identifier, such as the digits after id in an application link. You can also pass a full App Store app URL, and the platform will extract the numeric ID. Do not pass a Bundle ID in com.example.app format. |
country | body.params | Not declared | No | - | Selects the App Store storefront for search, profile, and reviews using a lowercase two-letter country code such as us, cn, or jp. The default is us. It changes the storefront being queried, not the account region or EveryInfra billing. |

Business data is in results. The table lists the fields a record can contain; values the platform does not show are never made up.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
app_id | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
name | Name of the object itself, for account, product and business capabilities. |
url | Link to the record on the platform. |
bundle_id | Keeps the platform's own meaning |

currency | Currency code of the price (for example CNY, USD). If price is present but currency is null, do not assume a currency. |
formatted_price | Keeps the platform's own meaning |
rating | Rating. The scale varies by platform: rating_scale on the same row gives the maximum (usually 5; Booking, Douban, iQIYI and NAVER use 10). Convert with rating_scale before comparing across platforms, or the comparison can come out backwards. |
rating_scale | Maximum of rating in the same row: 5 for five-star scales, 10 for ten-point scales. Present only when the row has a rating. |
rating_count | Number of people who rated. null means not disclosed, not 0. |
current_version_rating | Keeps the platform's own meaning |

FAQ
Where do I find the app_id?
On the app's App Store page: the digits after id in the link are the app_id, such as 389801252 from a link ending in id389801252. You can also pass the whole link, and the ID is extracted. A bundle ID such as com.example.app does not identify the app here; it comes back in bundle_id instead. App Store Search results carry the app_id as well.
Why do the details change from one country to another?
Each App Store storefront is separate. country picks one with a lowercase code such as us, cn or jp, and the details are read from that store. An app can be listed in one storefront and missing from another, and its price and ratings can differ between stores, so record the storefront with every figure you compare.
Should I use rating or current_version_rating?
rating and rating_count are the overall figures across versions, while current_version_rating and current_version_rating_count cover only the version now in the store. After a redesign or a fix for a widely reported bug, the current-version figures show how the app is received today. Check the count first, since a new version may have few ratings yet.
Errors and billing
- 401
- Missing or invalid key. Authentication runs before parameter checks, so unauthenticated requests never see the parameter schema.
- 422
- Wrong parameter name or value. The error lists the parameters and allowed values this capability accepts and the closest match; it happens before any charge.
- 402
- Insufficient balance. Top up first.
- 429
- The account's per-minute request limit was reached (all of its API keys count together; a key's own lower limit applies first). Wait for Retry-After and try again; a rate package in the console raises the limit.
- 503
- Could not complete right now. Any charge for the call goes back to your balance automatically, and the billing receipt in the response states the actual outcome, including when it is not yet known. Do not resend blindly.
- 200 empty
- The request completed without data and is not charged (billing.reason = empty_result_refunded).
