Douyin MCP server

Douyin MCP: one URL gives your AI public Douyin data

Add EveryInfra to Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, or any client that supports remote MCP, and your agent can search Douyin videos, read video comments, look up accounts and their posts, and turn spoken audio into text on Douyin. We run the server: nothing to install, no browser to keep open, and no Douyin login.

What a remote MCP server is

MCP (Model Context Protocol) is the open protocol AI clients use to call external tools. Remote means the server does not run on your machine: your client connects to https://api.everyinfra.com/mcp over HTTPS and sends Authorization: Bearer with your API key on each request. Compared with a local MCP server, three things change.

Nothing to install

No local process, no Node or Python dependencies, and no local browser to keep open.

No platform login

Collecting public data from Xiaohongshu, TikTok, and other platforms does not need your account or cookies on those platforms, only your EveryInfra API key.

Always current

When a platform or capability is added, your client picks it up the next time it reads the tool list. There is no plugin to update.

Transport: Streamable HTTP, stateless. initialize and tools/list work without a key; calling a tool requires one.

23 tools for discovery, data, search, CAPTCHAs, and your account

Every tool name starts with everyinfra_. The names stay stable, so you can put them in prompts and workflows.

Keep the API key in your client's secret or environment settings, and never commit it to a repository.

Then ask for what you need

The agent checks the capability catalog first, then picks a tool and its parameters. Each example links to the matching API page, so you can review the parameters and fields first.

How billing works

MCP itself costs nothing extra. Each tool call is billed like the API behind it, with the same API key and the same wallet as the REST API.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need a Douyin account for the Douyin MCP server?

No. EveryInfra reads public Douyin data without your Douyin account, cookies or a QR-code login. You only need your EveryInfra API key.

How is this different from an MCP server that runs a local browser?

Local setups typically run a program on your computer, open a browser and sign in to an account, and they stop when the computer sleeps or the login expires. EveryInfra's server is remote: your client connects over HTTPS, so it works the same from any computer or from an agent running in the cloud.

Which Douyin data can it read?

18 capabilities today, covering video search, video details, comments, account profiles and their posts, trending lists, transcripts, creator and Xingtu data, and product and live-commerce search; the full list is in the table above. It reads public data only and never posts, likes or sends messages.

How is it billed?

MCP itself costs nothing extra. Douyin capabilities cost $0.56 per 1,000 requests; invalid parameters, failed calls and empty results are not charged, and the catalog tools are free.

Which clients are supported?

Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Codex, and GitHub Copilot CLI have ready configurations. Any other client that supports remote MCP can use the generic URL and header setup.

Can I see the tools before I have an API key?

Yes. initialize and tools/list do not need a key, so you can read every tool and its parameters. You only need a key to call a tool.

Add Douyin data to your agent

Sign up, create an API key in the console, and add it to the configuration above to start calling every tool from your chat.
